About McIver's
McIver's Coffee & Tea is located at the Queen Victoria Market, Melbourne. The shop's founder, John McIver, opened his first business at the QVM in 1951 and went on to have delicatessens all over Melbourne.
McIver's Coffee & Tea was originally a combination of health foods and coffee, but in 1997 John decided to focus his energies on coffee and the under serviced tea market. Before long the shop was home to 25 varieties of coffee and a steadily growing range of traditional black and green teas and herbal and fruit tisanes.
John died in 2003 and left the shop in the hands of his wife Mary and stepdaughter Catherine. We are committed to carrying on the business with the same
dedication to wonderful product at reasonable price. We love searching for beautiful, functional teapots and coffee making equipment and making them available.
We love tea and coffee and the constant challenge of finding new and more delicious varieties to offer.
